Loan Modification Fraud Lawyer FOX11 LA TV interview

Attorney Robert L. Starr was on FOX channel 11 news at 10 tonight. This is a follow up story to FOX's piece on Loan Modification fraud happening in the SouthLand that originally was reported in November of 2008.

Robert's office has asked the courts permission to file a class action lawsuit, representing victims of loan modification fraud.

In addition to the video segment, Robert's office is also mentioned in FOX11's online article and video segment. You can also check out Robert's website about Loan Modification scams.

Robert & I do interact often, and I believe his passion for consumer rights and his legal experience make him an ideal advocate for those ripped off.

Did you know that Robert is also a licensed real estate broker and has a background in banking/lending? His law practice helps comsumers with loans, real estate, employment and auto issues, including windshield defects.

How does one locate Probate company for estate sale of parent? siblings have intentionally omitted other family members (other siblings) when filed for probate - and refuse to advise of whom.

Loan Modification This is a process whereby a homeowner's mortgage is modified and both lender & homeowner are bound by the new terms. Having said of it, there are also companies that give Loan Modification Help to best settle a good term.

We hired an attorney (fees paid in advance) for a loan mod in December 2008, a 1st and
2nd trust deed. The lender was Countrywide, now Bank of America. We were advised not to talk to the bank and make no payments during the negotiation.
The house is now in forclosure and set for auction in August 2009.
We finally recieved loan mod doc's for the 1st deed only from the Bank of America on July 21, 2009. Our attorney did not recieve doc's. We were advised to sign and return doc's to the bank to prevent the auction sale. We did even though the doc's reflect a higher balance due and monthly payment, more than the original loan amount. Our attorney has been very slow and only since the auction issue came up has the attorney responded with information........I'm afraid we may have commited to a greater hardship and may have hired nothing more than a glorified credit counseling firm.....we need help!!!!!!!
Thanks
